Getting Spammed

Not sure why this is happening all of a sudden, but I’ve gotten a ton of spam comments lately.  I hope I am able to fix this problem soon.

Me too! I wonder if it’s something with wordpress?

Same here. I didn’t check the spam filter for a few days and suddenly it was mass spamage to the tune of 140+ messages. *cue the Monty Python accent* I don’t like spam.

I’ve been spared, for some reason, and only have a few spam. Then again, my blog is just about the Minors, and not the Show…lol!!!!!!!

Do you get any of the really long ones that are in, like, Russian, or something?

Jeff, yes I have. I’ve also gotten several with broken english that make no sense whatsoever. Frustrating to say the least.

Portrays natures best by the excellent data here. I believe that in case a greater number of people considered it like that, they’d have a very better time period obtain the suspend ofing the situation.

Ron:

I hope you don’t consider this spam. But I am offering you a photo of Dale Sveum and Robin Ventura together on Friday. Here is my pitch:

For the first time in the Cubs’ and Sox’ long baseball history, two rookie managers lead their clubs into Opening Day. There’s a good reason for this: Dale Sveum and Robin Ventura need to deliver a fresh start.

On March 9, the Cubs and Sox will play the spring’s first “Crosstown Classic,” at Camelback Ranch where Sveum and Ventura meet for the first time. Before the contest, the skippers will come together to announce the Fisher Nuts “Freshness You Can Win” campaign: Each time both ball clubs win on the same day during the regular season, Fisher will donate $1,000 – $500 to each of the teams’ charities, which help families throughout the city.

In addition, a season-long sweepstakes rewards Cubs fans and White Sox fans with dozens of prizes, with two grand prize winners each winning a party for 20 and game tickets, and a chance for the whole gang to meet their teams’ rookie skipper.

If you’re interested in sharing this information with your readers, I can provide a photo of the two rookie skippers announcing the program and discussing the two teams’ chances at contributing to the Chicago Cubs Charities and Chicago White Sox Community Outreach immediately following the March 9th press conference in Arizona.

Thank you for your time.

I think that’s about right. The Red Sox just went crazy in the 2004 LCS and were really dotainme in 2007. The White Sox and small ball took the central division fairly easily despite a late season drop off and their post season was perhaps the best ever since the 3 tier system was started. 11-1 and some of the best heads up plays you’ll ever see.
